Meet the Prequent, Inc. Team:

Brian Danella

Principal

Brian Danella Prior to co-founding Prequent in 2002, Brian was an intellectual property and technology licensing lawyer, both at large law firms, including Weil Gotshal in Manhattan and Wilson Sonsini in Palo Alto, and as the vice president and general counsel of Nuance Communications, a publicly traded software company.

Brian graduated with a degree in computer science from Princeton University in 1991 and received a J.D., magna cum laude, with a concentration in Law, Technology, and Management from Syracuse University in 1994.

Brian is also a Venture Partner at DFJ Frontier, an early-stage venture capital firm, and a guest lecturer on public relations at the University of California, Davis, Graduate School of Management. He is a board observer at Dragnet Solutions, Inc., a provider of fraud prevention and identity management solutions for banking and retail.


Paige Schoknecht

Paige Schoknecht

Paige manages the public relations programs and calendars for Prequent’s clients, assists with analyst and media relations, and contributes to press release development.

Prior to joining Prequent, Paige spent three years as a media liaison in the Capitol and Palo Alto offices of California State Senator Joe Simitian, where she developed and pitched press releases and fielded media inquiries on a variety of legislative issues.

Paige graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in political science and a minor in history.


John Bennett

John Bennett John has worked with high technology companies for nearly twenty-five years. He has served as Acting President for GroupSystems, as Vice President, Marketing for Kenai Systems, Pixion, and WildPackets, as Director of Marketing for SnapLogic, and as Director of Product Marketing for Tumbleweed. Most recently, John was instrumental in launching SnapLogic's first commercial software product and building the company's sales pipeline. In addition, John has provided strategic and tactical marketing services for a broad range of companies, including Blue Coat Systems, LightPole, Sentilla, TYZX, and Vernier Networks. His writing has appeared in Computerworld and IEEE Computer. He has also written white papers, launched and facilitated Web seminar series, and managed the development of over 20 commercial Web sites.

John's interests include strategic planning and social media strategies. As a board member of the Berkeley Symphony, he helped the board of directors develop its first strategic plan.

John graduated with a degree in English from Pomona College in Claremont, California. He has studied accounting and finance at UC Berkeley Extension.
